This workshop is for those who would like to use the tarot as a divination tool to read for themselves or others. This workshop will provide practical and clear information about the tarot, its structure and basic meanings of the cards. We will review how to store and care for your cards, best ways to prepare for a reading and several basic layouts. It is the goal of this workshop to help you develop a personal relationship with the cards adding your own layers of meanings to the standard interpretations, so plan on getting in touch with your intuitive side.
This eight workshop begins with the Major Arcana and the Fool’s Journey, and follows with the Minor Arcana, the four different suits, their elements, basic astrology and numerology. Worksheets and handouts will be provided every class. Due to the quantity of information given in this workshop in a short amount of time, you can expect a minimal amount of homework.
Requirements: a 1" binder with loose leaf paper, writing instruments, and a tarot deck. A tarot deck based on the Rider-Waite deck is preferred deck of study but not mandatory.
